Graduation season is coming up fast. With a couple of our own kids in high school, this time of year keeps getting more and more personal! But if you’ve got someone special in your life graduating from high school or college this year, you already know that. With that in mind, we’ve collected some of our favorite things for graduates. Some make great presents, some are a beautiful way to preserve memories and maybe even a way to create some new memories. Check them out:
Memorialize their accomplishments.
No matter what they’ve accomplished in their school careers, every student has a few things that commemorate those special victories they’ve racked up. Some, like these metals and tassels are awarded at graduation, but others get awarded throughout the school year. Perhaps it’s their band letters or some newspaper clippings or a science award, but those memories deserve to be protected and the people who earned them deserve to show them off! So get the framed up and preserved before a graduation party and they’ll make a great centerpiece for a memory table.
Give them some school swag.
Add a signature mat.
You know how at the graduation party there’s usually some place for people to leave thoughts for the graduate? Maybe a guestbook or a stack of cards for people to write? Well, we like this idea even more! Bring in a senior picture and we’ll frame it with an extra large mat, but without the glass. Then set the frame up at the graduation party. Guests can write their well wishes and advice right on the mat. Then bring it back in and we’ll put in some high quality, UV rated glass and preserve those thoughts forever!
How about a letter frame?
Sure these are Dover mats, but our computer controlled mat cutter can cut out mats in any letter combination. This would be another great way to commemorate the high school days or a unique centerpiece for the graduation table.
